A bit late in the day – things have been really manic lately, but here are some photos from the open studio show held at the Tea Building in Shoreditch, London. Its a very raw space provided by The Prince’s Drawing School, hence the exposed pipework, lovely to work around that when hanging up my work.
All the artwork will shortly be put up on my website for sale, if you are interested in buying a piece – prints or original paintings, drop me an email.
I’ve just finished painting a mural for the Queen of Hoxton in London. 15 artists have been selected to create new artwork on their walls, I worked on the exterior facade, whilst the other 14 artists have been busy painting up a storm inside the venue. Its been a challenging experience, battling with the wind, and working on such a large scale for the first time – two walls, one 13 metres wide!
The opening night for the new work will be on the 24th October – save the date! Details can be found here: http://www.facebook.com/events/360802137341909/
I have several pieces of work that have been selected for publication in AOI Images 36: Best of British Illustration.
They also made it into the Images 36 show, currently exhibiting at the Somerset House until 28th October, go see it if you’re in London! Its in a beautiful building, displayed amongst other wonderful work. The show will then be touring around the UK until September 2013.
Mixing up my media more and more. Worked with acrylic paint for the first time since my college days.
